Australia’s Big Social Media Shake Up
Rob and Ash talked about the huge news today. Australia has officially banned social media for under 16s, making us the first country in the world to do it.

I volunteered for the first 10 years of my media career, waiting for the right moment to try and have a go. I love to spend time with my two best mates, my wife and my younger brother, if I am not with them I'm either playing golf or on my snowboard on Mt Buller. My favourite part about TheLight is that I get to entertain and try to make people laugh while always being clean and positive.
I'm passionate about honest storytelling, faith-filled conversations, and creating space for people to feel seen, encouraged, and reminded of God’s goodness. Whether I'm behind the mic or serving in church, my heart is to point people to Jesus in a way that feels real and relatable.
When I'm not on-air, you’ll find me sipping coffee with my husband, belting out show tunes, or discovering Melbourne’s best eats. I'm a creative at heart, always finding joy in music, community, and navigating life and faith with a whole lot of grace.
