Rob and Ash were chatting about love — and stumbled on something surprisingly meaningful.
A Logitech survey of 1,500 Aussies aged 18-45 found couples who game together are nearly twice as happy. They also spend 17 hours/week gaming together — 4 hours more quality time than other couples.
So what’s the magic?
✅ For 55%, it’s the team energy
✅ For 47%, it’s the chance to switch off and relax
✅ For 46%, it creates real closeness
✅ And for 40%, it simply brings the fun back
Ash and Toby game together constantly (Nintendo Switch + board games). In fact, they’ve outgrown their board game cupboard and had to rehouse their collection.
Rob loves gaming but plays solo. With a new baby and busy schedules, playing together can feel difficult — even though part of him wishes they did it more.
The real secret?
Have more fun.
Life gets heavy. Nights become vent sessions. Ash quoted Bear Grylls: “Be your best self at home, not just at work.”
That’s the intention: to bring fun into marriage and relationships. Because life gets busy and hard, and fun can slip away.
