đ¤ Meet Our Co-Host: WHITEFIELD
đ§ Join us this week as we chat with Whitefieldâs lead singer, Scott Lavendar – about what it means to make music with your mates, how to stay connected as a band while navigating changing seasons of life and family, and why touring with for KING & COUNTRY would be a dream come true.
Emerging from Sydney in 2012, Whitefield are a five-piece band who channel a potent blend of melody, emotion and indie rock ambition. Their sound has always existed in the spaces âin-betweenâ genres, atmospheres and moods – craving depth and colour in an era often dominated by formulaic pop.
From the self-titled debut in 2012 through to their standout 2015 EP Prone to Wander (which climbed to #2 on the Inspirational iTunes charts), Whitefield steadily built a foundation of loyal listeners across Australia.
After spending over a year in the studio the band returned with the ambitious full-length Cinematic in 2018. Featuring shimmering 80s-influenced guitars, expansive synth washes and heartfelt lyrics, the record included âWhat Are You Waiting For,â a streaming success boasting more than 400,000 plays and sustained chart presence.
Their latest EP, Dragon Slayer (2024), demonstrates that the band are far from resting on their laurels. With each release, they deepen their craft, songwriting thatâs both reflective and anthemic, production that embraces both atmosphere and immediacy.
Whitefield operate not only as musicians but as storytellers, creating music designed to be felt as much as listened to. For fans of emotionally driven rock with serious melodic ambition, Whitefield offer a compelling proposition: an Australian act forging its path with honesty, heart and a refusal to sound like everyone else.

đ One to Watch: JOSH VINE
Introducing Josh Vine, a worship musician from NSW. He released his debut album âOut Of The Fireâ this month and we like his new track âAll The Praiseâ.
Josh said âthis song is a reminder that praise lifts us out of our perspective and we can realign with Gods plan and purposes. so praise in the valley, on a mountain in seasons of lack and seasons of plenty.â
