Experience Church – Production & Editing Volunteer

Do you have a passion for producing and editing high quality, faith-based media?

PositiveMedia has an exciting volunteer opportunity to support our Experience Church program for 8-10 weeks over April-June.

We are looking for someone who shares a heart for our mission to see “Every life alight with the love of Jesus”, and who is prepared to make a commitment of up to 5 hours per week for the April-June period with the opportunity for it to be ongoing. There is flexibility in that the role can be conducted from our offices in Mitcham or you can opt to work remotely from home. The right candidate will be flexible, prepared to be trained, and have a commitment to keep learning the skills needed to produce high quality audio for our audience.

Training will be provided but some basic audio and editing experience is preferred.

Specific duties include:

• Liaising with churches to source Sunday Messages and advise of broadcasts
• Screening sermons for suitability as potential Sunday Messages
• Editing & processing sermon audio ready for broadcast
• Preparing content summaries, tags, intros of messages, ready for broadcast and online posting

If you have a keen ear for quality audio, understand what makes a great sermon and have basic audio editing skills (or the ability to pick them up quickly), then this could be for you!
