🎤 Meet Our Co-Host: Nathan Tasker
Joining our host Kate Westwood this week is Nathan Tasker. Nathan is an award-winning Australian singer-songwriter whose heartfelt lyrics and evocative storytelling have resonated with audiences around the world. Known for blending acoustic pop with honest reflections on faith, love, loss, and hope, Nathan has spent over two decades crafting songs that speak deeply to the human experience.
His latest release, So Far So Good (2024), is a best-of collection celebrating the journey so far – featuring 18 of his most loved songs. The album highlights Nathan’s evolution as both an artist and a storyteller, tracing themes of resilience, grace, and gratitude woven throughout his career.
Originally from Sydney and now based between Australia and Nashville, Nathan has toured extensively across the U.S., U.K., and Australia, performing at festivals, churches, and intimate venues alike. He has released several acclaimed albums including Man on a Wire, Home, and The Bell Tower, and has achieved six No. 1 and twelve Top 10 singles on Christian radio.
Beyond music, Nathan is a passionate advocate for Compassion, using his platform to champion child sponsorship and inspire hope through tangible action. His concerts are known not just for their musical excellence, but for their warmth and authenticity – creating spaces where stories and songs intertwine to remind listeners that light can always be found, even in the midst of challenge.

🌟 One to Watch: Eric
Eric Ybañez is a powerhouse vocalist and songwriter whose music bridges sacred themes with dynamic rock sounds. Born in Cebu City, Philippines, he moved to Brisbane, Australia as a teen and first performed in his father’s band at the age of eight.
His sound fuses AOR, melodic metal, hard rock, and shredding guitar with emotionally raw, spiritually resonant lyrics. Though an evangelical Christian, his songs speak broadly—exploring faith, redemption, love, resilience, and brokenness.
His debut solo album, *Because Of Love*, is being released in a unique rollout with new songs every 6–8 weeks. Eric’s mission is to stir hearts, awaken spirits, and ignite faith through high‑energy rock with heart and fire.
