It’s a big day on The Daily as Darren Mulligan from We Are Messengers joined the show with some massive news. After two years of being away, the band is officially returning to Australia for their second national tour.
Darren shared how deeply they fell in love with Aussie audiences last time, calling it a “home away from home.” This tour isn’t about profit or hype. It’s about sharing hope, good news, and the joy they’ve found in Jesus. And they are bringing plenty of new energy with them. Australia and New Zealand will be the first in the world to hear songs from their upcoming fifth album, Halfway Home, arriving September 2026.
From rock anthems to heartfelt stories, Darren promises a night filled with honesty, passion and the kind of connection that goes far beyond the stage. And, yes, longtime friend Nathan Tasker will be joining them again.
After a season of living back home in Ireland, finding peace and reconnecting with family, Darren says he has never been more excited to step on stage: clean, grounded, and full of life.
Australia, get ready.
More joy. More heart. More rock and roll.
And a whole lot of Jesus.
