đ¶ This Week on the Aus Music Showcase
Welcome to another episode of the Aus Music Showcase, your go-to program for the best in music from Australian Christian musicians. Each week, we bring you inspiring stories, uplifting songs, and the artists behind them.
đ€ Meet Our Co-Host: RIVER MOVEMENT
I chat to Jordan Winslade – lead singer of River Movement – a genre-blurring collective from the Gold Coast and Brisbane, Australia, bringing a powerful fusion of rap, folk, reggae, and worship to audiences across the nation.
Founded in 2017 by lead vocalist/rapper Jordan Winslade – after a life-defining encounter in Cambodia – the band comprises a rotational lineup, including Kristian Kennedy, Josh Blackburn, Callum Tyrrell, Bec Tyrrell, Jenna Huggins, Tyson Winslade, and Chris Tamati-Chirnside. From spiritual beginnings in family worship and YWAM, River Movement emerged with a mission: to be ârivers of living water in the dry placesâ.
Their impactful music, featuring hit singles like It All Goes Away – which reached #1 on Aussie Grown Radio and #2 on Rhema/Vision Christian Radioâs Oz TopâŻ30 – reflects their deep faith and creative passion (The Daily Declaration). Known for electrifying live performances that often include freestyle segments, theyâve toured extensively across Australia, hitting 14 cities on their largest national tour to date, and played internationally at New Zealandâs Festival One.
With a second album, Immersing Light, continuing their narrative of hope, theyâre pioneers in Australiaâs indie Christian music landscape. River Movement is recognized for fostering community, spirit-led creativity, and delivering worship experiences that truly resonate.

đ One to Watch: Victor Claye
Victor Claye is based in Adelaide, South Australia, where he pursues his mission to inspire a lifestyle of worship. Music has always been a part of his life, but only became an outlet as his lifeâs purpose became clear, to share the good news of Jesus to all who would listen, and call them to follow. This good news is what saved him from a life of pain and regret, and gave him one of love, purpose and a sure hope. This hope is too good not to share, and music is the vehicle to do just that.
Victor Claye showcases his natural rap flow, and youâll hear the soulful background vocals of his wife Nadine. Love Hip-Hop, the gospel, or better yet, both? Then âPass Me The Micâ is for you.
