🎤 Meet Our Co-Host: Justin Michael
Justin Michael – former frontman of the beloved Australian Christian band Compliments of Gus – returns with a powerful new solo single, “Cannot See Tomorrow.” Inspired by James chapter 4, the song explores faith, uncertainty, and hope with the emotional honesty of worship music and the cinematic polish of a modern pop ballad.
Now serving as a church pastor in Victoria, Justin wrote “Cannot See Tomorrow” while preparing a sermon, transforming a moment of vulnerability into something deeply moving. Reuniting with longtime collaborator and Compliments of Gus alum Jared Haschek, he crafted lush string arrangements that elevate the song’s reflective beauty.
As a singer-songwriter, Justin is known for his heartfelt vocals, lyrical depth, and ability to capture life’s struggles and joys through faith-filled storytelling. His 2025 single “Did Ya Don’t Worry” was shortlisted for People’s Choice – Song of the Year by Christian Media & Arts Australia, highlighting his enduring impact on the Australian Christian music scene.
Today, Justin continues to write, record, and serve as a worship leader and creative mentor – carrying forward the same authenticity and passion that defined his band years, now lived out in his solo artistry. “Cannot See Tomorrow” stands as a testament to faith in the unknown and the enduring power of hope.
