In early July we shared the news that we were able to raise almost $1.5m in our June fundraising campaign. This was an incredible result thanks to the amazing generosity of listeners like you… We are so grateful for every donation, prayer, and word of encouragement received to help keep TheLight shining.

While we thank God for that incredible outcome, it was about $500,000 short of the budgeted need for June.

Since that time we have done a lot of work to manage our costs by trimming wherever we can and deferring some expenses, including a planned studio upgrade to next year.

89.9 TheLight is entirely community-funded, so we need to do more to improve the financial outlook in order to keep uplifting music, real-life stories, and faith-filled content on air for hundreds of thousands of people across Melbourne and beyond.
