🎤 Meet Our Co-Host: Ethan Beer
Joining our host Kate Westwood this week is Ethan Beer
Ethan Beer is a Brisbane-born singer‑songwriter, multi‑instrumentalist and producer blending heartfelt narrative lyrics with sleek acoustic‑pop production. Born in February 2004, he began singing in church and school at age six, penning his first song at eight, and teaching himself guitar at 12 before branching into piano, drums, and music production. He’s performed lead roles in musicals such as Matilda the Musical and starred in the short film Not Like Me prior to making his way to Los Angeles to work with international producers.
His 2022 debut project, Unsigned, showcases his deep emotional expression over self‑produced beats and crisp vocal delivery. Standout singles include Lead Me to the Water, Stargazing, Worth It, Little Bird, Universe and Wonderfully Made, each reflecting personal introspection and sonic growth. With over 900K followers on TikTok, Ethan also shares his creative journey via social media and live appearances, including collaborating with Youth Alive Australia and also booking a support slot with Tarryn Stokes at a Christian Media Arts Australia event.

🌟 One to Watch: JSP
Australian husband and wife duo James and Sarah Petterson, known collectively as JSP, have exploded onto the Christian rock scene with their chain-breaking anthem “Taking It Back.” The song was co-written and produced by Josiah Prince of Disciple to refine the sound of musicians who have already been honing their craft for decades. “Taking It Back,” which is the lead single from the duo’s upcoming debut album.
