🎤 Meet Our Co-Host: Danny

This week I’m joined by Western Australian singer-songwriter Danny Alcorn – a storyteller whose music is shaped by family, faith, and a heart that’s been beautifully restored. In our chat, Danny opens up about the incredible influence of his dad, the man who championed his music from the very beginning and believed in his gift long before anyone else did.
We also dive into Danny’s powerful faith journey, including the season a few years ago when he found himself returning to the Lord in a deeply personal way. That moment of reconnection didn’t just change his life; it reshaped his purpose. Now, Danny is passionate about sharing the gospel through every lyric, melody, and story he brings to the stage.
And yes, we get a little sneak peek into what’s next… with a brand-new album currently in the works for 2026.
Danny Alcorn is a Western Australian singer-songwriter whose music carries the warmth of his surf-coast upbringing and the depth of a life transformed by faith. Growing up around Margaret River, Danny first picked up a guitar as a child and quickly discovered that music wasn’t just a hobby—it was his calling. With nearly a decade of live gigging experience behind him, he has become known for his soulful vocals, honest storytelling, and a grounded authenticity that resonates across audiences.
Danny studied music formally at WAAPA, sharpening both his technical skill and his voice as a songwriter. But it was a profound spiritual awakening in his mid-20s that reshaped everything. After years of performing primarily in secular settings, Danny found himself returning to the Lord in a deeply personal way, rediscovering grace, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose. From that moment on, music became more than just performance; it became ministry.
Now, Danny writes and performs with a clear mission: to share the gospel through song, to encourage the broken, and to reflect the beauty of God’s transformation. Whether he’s leading worship or playing to a room of strangers, his heart remains the same, to bring hope, healing, and authenticity to every space he enters.
With a brand-new album currently in development for 2026, Danny Alcorn continues to bridge the sacred and the everyday, offering music that speaks to the soul while staying true to his surf-coast roots.

🌟 One to Watch: PAUL MORRISON

Paul Morrison who is affectionately known as Morro to Perth audiences, returns with one of his most powerful and personal releases yet: “Come What May.” Co-host of 98.5 Perth’s breakfast show and a long-respected figure in Australian Christian music, Paul steps back into the spotlight with a song born from one of the darkest valleys his family has ever faced.
Written while his 16-year-old daughter Kate battled a mysterious and debilitating illness, Come What May captures Paul’s honest wrestle with fear, faith, and the goodness of God when answers felt out of reach. After months of uncertainty, prayer, and a miraculous turnaround in Kate’s health, the song now carries a triumphant edge, made even more special as Kate lends her voice to the recording.
Produced by Chad Blondel, Come What May blends modern pop warmth with raw conviction, marking Paul Morrison as an artist to watch in 2025.
