About this role
- Identify and pursue new sponsorship, advertising, and partnership opportunities.
- Achieve agreed revenue and client growth targets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
- Develop tailored sponsorship proposals and presentations.
- Collaborate with our creative and production teams to ensure high-quality campaign delivery.
- Maintain accurate client records and sales pipeline in our CRM system.
- Represent PositiveMedia Ltd at community events, outside broadcasts, and business networking functions.
- Contribute ideas for station growth, marketing initiatives, and audience engagement.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (media or advertising preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A goal-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and positive attitude.
- A heart that aligns with Christian values and a genuine desire to make a difference.
- Experience in media sales (radio, print, or digital).
- Familiarity with CRM systems and campaign management tools.
- Understanding of the not-for-profit or community broadcasting sector.
- Knowledge of Melbourne’s Christian and business networks.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
